If your parents didn’t know how to regulate their own emotions in a healthy way, there’s no way they would have been able to handle your emotions too.
This isn’t to point fingers or blame, this isn’t always ill intended, they just knew no better.
We heal when we learn to emotionally regulate and reparent ourselves. Yes this isn’t easy, but it is 100% possible.
