Everybody lives in their own reality based on their own subconscious stories.

These stories shape the way we think, feel and live our lives.

You can have two different people experience the same thing and feel completely different about it based on the stories they tell themselves. The power is in perception.

Most people with anxiety when I first meet them have no idea about the stories that are running (or ruining) their life.

The problem with our stories and beliefs is we rarely look to challenge them or prove them wrong.

Sometimes the judgement and shame of being wrong is so strong we will ignore all contrary evidence to them.

Here are some of the anxious stories that prevent people from healing or even start to heal.

The key is to observe your own stories and recognise them.

Then ask yourself, “Is this story helping me or hurting me?”

If it’s hurting, be willing to challenge it and go out of your way to prove it wrong. Otherwise you’re letting the anxiety win.

The key to changing your life is to first change your inner reality by changing the stories and rewriting the script. This is what I help my clients to do.

All the stories above are false. I will never ever judge you and no issue is too big or too small.

What anxious stories do you notice your mind tell you?
