People that experience anxiety are typically more sensitive and notice their bodies sensations and feelings.
Our bodies are constantly evaluating our surroundings and the people around us.
It does this all the time. Where we haven’t interacted as much you may find your body feeling a bit overwhelmed when around so many people.
We assess safety mostly from peoples facial expressions which have been hidden by masks which drive anxiety up as we aren’t connecting or co regulating through our interactions.
Again don’t judge yourself, have compassion and just recognise when your body needs a little comforting and soothing.
Regulate with your body and your breath. Allow your body to adapt. Take your time. Slow down.
Expand your comfort zone at a pace that doesn’t overwhelm you.
Let your body be your guide.
